Back in Paris, we head for the Luxembourg Gardens, just a stone's throw from our historic flagship rue de Tournon. Shouts of joy and laughter fill the air. This blissful scene of daily life is punctuated by the Carousel’s melody, little model sailboats floating on the ‘Grand Bassin’, and the inviting cool shade of blooming chestnut trees. At the “Luco” - as the locals name it - it's already snack time! A large gingham tablecloth is laid out, softly echoing the pattern on the girls' dresses. Boys in their chambray shirts relax surrounded by daisies and a “Famous Five” adventure book in their hands. A referee in short pants whistles to signal the end of half-time.
